We are accepting students at all levels in our lab. We are a computational biology, bioinformatics and machine learning lab. Therefore basic skills in computer programming are required. If you are interested in opportunities other than the onces described below, you are welcome to reach out to us.
Graduate Students
We have several Master's (thesis or project-based) and PhD positions available. We welcome students from a variety of programs at the University of Ottawa, including:
- Ottawa-Carleton Joint Bioinformatics Program
- School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS)
- Ottawa-Carleton Institute of Biomedical Engineering (OCIBME)
Admission requirements vary by program, so please refer to the specific program and university website for detailed information. Generally, a solid understanding of computer programming (preferably in R or Python) and basic knowledge of molecular biology are required for graduate student positions in our lab.
